The rain-affected match was drawn with no decision on first innings. There was no play at all on the first day and under two hours on the second, spread over three rain-interrupted sessions. The game was abandoned shortly after 3.00 pm on the Saturday when heavy rain set in and made further play impossible. For Surrey 2nd XI Baker scored 56, including 7 fours, an innings of one and a quarter hours.
