Glamorgan won this return match by an innings and 23 runs at 1.20 pm on the second day. The match between the two sides at Newport at the beginning of June had been drawn. Rain delayed the start on the second day by 35 minutes. For the winners, Nash took 11 wickets in the match for 93 runs, including 7 for 46 in the Monmouthshire first innings. Creber took the remaining 9 wickets for 68 runs. There were 2 fours in Riches's 61.
