Devon won this return match by 10 wickets at 1.15 pm on the second day after enforcing the follow-on. The match between the two teams at Exeter in July had been drawn. For the winners, there were 3 sixes, 18 fours, 3 threes and 10 twos in Hooman's 144, an innings of 2½ hours. Cruwys's 58 included 1 six and 8 fours. For Cornwall, W S Tresawna's 63 contained 6 fours. Treweeke's batting
was hampered by a strained leg obtained when fielding in the Devon first innings.
