Buckinghamshire won this return match by an innings and 146 runs before lunch on the second day after enforcing the follow-on. The match between the two teams at Kidderminster in July had been drawn. For the winners, Wilson and Wright bowled unchanged through both Worcestershire 2nd XI innings. Wilson took 11 wickets in the match for 88 runs and Wright 9 for 56 runs. Weaver Adams scored 69 and Southall also 69. In the Buckinghamshire innings, these two players put on 123 runs for the second wicket. For the visitors, Solly took 7 wickets for 118 runs in the Buckinghamshire innings. Foster scored 51. The Rev C D Robinson, who was touring Britain with the South African cricket team, reappeared for Buckinghamshire after an absence of 10 years.
