Drawn match with Yorkshire 2nd XI winning on first innings. To general surprise, Hare, the Yorkshire captain, did not enforce the follow-on. For the home team, A Turner's 113, an innings of 2ΒΌ hours, contained 20 fours and 3 twos. There were 14 fours and 13 fours respectively in Rudston's two innings of 87. For the visitors, G Turner's 62 included 11 fours and Hibbert's 61 not out 6 fours. Whitaker sprained a leg and Butcher of Barnsley fielded as substitute and in the Lincolnshire first innings caught Holsinger.
