Match drawn with Norfolk winning on first innings. Norfolk had required 119 runs to win in their second innings in 1¾ hours. The weather prevented play until 1.45 pm on the second day, and there were several rain interruptions during the day causing the loss of a further hour and a half of cricket. For Norfolk, Gibson took 10 wickets in the match for 137 runs, including 7 for 74 in the Suffolk second innings. There were 15 fours in G A Stevens's 89. In the Norfolk first innings G A Stevens and B K Wilson put on 60 runs for the seventh wicket, and Allsopp and Smith 51 for the tenth. For Suffolk, Murray's 59 included 10 fours.
