Drawn return match with Hertfordshire winning on first innings. Norfolk followed-on 114 runs behind and had 85 minutes to bat to avoid defeat. The match between the two sides at St Albans in July had been won by Hertfordshire. Heavy weekend rain that continued on Monday morning delayed the start until 4.10 pm when only 2ΒΌ hours play was possible. A strong wind caused problems for some bowlers until it eased at lunchtime on the second day. For Hertfordshire, White carried his bat for the second time during the season through the innings. His innings lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes and included 4 fours. There were 7 fours in Golding's 54. In the Hertfordshire first innings Golding and White put on 103 runs for the first wicket.
