Glamorgan won this return match by five wickets at 12.30 pm on the second day, after Hertfordshire followed on 130 runs behind on first innings. When the two sides met at Hitchin in July, Glamorgan had also won the match. For the winners, Maxwell scored 60 not out. Nash took 9 wickets in the match for 80 runs. For Hertfordshire, Coleman scored 64. When fielding in the Hertfordshire second innings, Bancroft was hurt stopping a hard drive and was forced to retire. Coleman and Household added 105 for the 6th wicket in the Hertfordshire second innings.
