Carmarthenshire won this return match by four wickets at 5.58 pm on the second day with two minutes to spare. The match between the two sides at Llanelly the previous week had also been won by Carmarthenshire. Requiring 176 runs to win in their second innings in 2½ hours, Gravelle saw them through to victory with an undefeated 101 comprising 1 five, 5 fours and 10 threes. James took 9 wickets in the match for 104 runs and Gee 7 for 108. For the losers, Sewell took 10 wickets in the match for 104 runs , including taking 9 for 56 in the Carmarthenshire first innings. Webb top scored with 32 not out. G T Wheldon played in this match under the pseudonym T Williams.
