Glamorgan won this return match by an innings and 147 runs at 11.10 am on the second day. The match at Swansea had also been won by Glamorgan. Play was extended on the first day with Carmarthenshire 118-6 in their second innings to see if a result could be achieved. For the winners Riches scored 150 which contained 27 fours, an innings of 165 minutes. He with Thomas added 133 for the third wicket. There were 4 fours in Thomas's 62 and 1 six and 7 fours in Maxwell's 53. Hacker took 10 wickets in the match for 100 runs including 7 for 35 in the first Carmarthenshire innings which only lasted 1 hour. Rees was top scorer with 40 in their second innings.
