Rain caused a 10-minute delay on the first evening. A further 10 minutes were lost when Mike Ikin hit a ball from Ken Norton out of the ground and the ball could not be found.
On the second day, rain prevented the start of the Staffordshire second innings for 55 minutes and caused a premature close.
