The South continued to make hay at Lomas A.C. Chris Nino scoring a powerful 150 runs not out with 17 x 4's having been dropped at 2 in the slips by D.G.B.Parsons. Tony Ferguson 7 x 4's in his 63 and Hastrup also batted well. The South made their runs on the first day and the North were 30 for one at stumps. Only half an hour's play was possible on the second day the North adding 25 runs for two wickets. before a deluge made further play impossible. On the last day play commenced at midday mad the North were out by 3.30pm. Following on again the North did much better reaching 131 for four wickets with Lewis Ross making a fine 58 containing 6 x 4's. Tudor took seven wickets in the match.
