Notes
--> Bowling in the North first innings adds 1 run over
--> Bowling in the North second innings adds 2 runs under

The North suffered a set-back this year thanks to Matias Paterlini who scored 84 in the first innings and 126 not out in the second. North wining the toss batted first and were sitting comfortably at 127 for three but three wickets fell suddenly and they did well to finish on 240. Apart from Paterlini the South batted poorly and finished sixty adrift on first innings. 'Guille' Kirschbaum made a great century and had a big part in the North declaring at 219 for seven wickets. This left South 280 to win which was a tall order. However Paterlini and Chris Tunon soon put the match beyond the North by making 148 for the sixth wicket. This was a new record for this wicket for the South beating the previous of 139 made in 1958 by K.J.Auld and H.E.J.Cribbes.
