Notes
--> Bowling in the South first innings adds 1 run under

The last match played at Arenales 663, Lomas de Zamora, and the match was badly interfeered with by the weather there being no play on the second day. Winning the toss the South made a capital startestablishing a new record for theSouth's first wicket of 233, surpassing the previous 205 made in 1928 by John Knox and Dennett Ayling. Following tgis the rest of the inings folded tamely and they declared at 280 for nine wickets. In reply the North were put out for 164 only Donny Forrester with 75 and G.P.Kirschbaum making decent scores.Witha lead of 116 the South hit up 94 in 22 overs and declared leaving the North 211 to win of only 15 overs -- an impossible task. Sunny and Chauhan and Malcolm von Steeden opened with an assault similar to that against Malaysia at Toronto in 2001 and made 80 runs in 6 overs.
