This return match was drawn, with the Bedfordshire declaration leaving Norfolk 110 minutes to score the 160 runs required to win. Five of
the Norfolk side were out for 23 runs in half-an-hour. The eighth wicket fell at 6.05 pm with 25 minutes to go, but Gibson and Raikes held out for the draw. For Bedfordshire, there were 11 fours in King's 70 and 7 fours in Wharmby's 62 not out. Allsopp's 56 for Norfolk contained 7 fours. In the Norfolk first innings Cozens-Hardy and Allsopp added 93 runs for the seventh wicket. The rain-affected match between the two sides at Bedford in June had also been drawn.
